Comfort House provides volunteer opportunities that are based on each volunteer's skills and available time. It is important to us that the volunteer have an educational and enjoyable experience. By planting seeds of knowledge about sexual assault issues in each of our volunteers, our hope is to create a more aware and service oriented community.

Volunteer Training

Training Requirements All volunteers must complete orientation training before volunteering. In-service training will be provided throughout the year and Comfort House will make every effort to provide training opportunities. Comfort House will work with individuals to provide a volunteer position that fits with personal goals and needs. Training may be substituted by previous training or qualifications with approval of the Executive Director.
