Our Mission
To provide a multidisciplinary team approach to address the problem of child abuse and neglect, to reduce trauma, and to initiate the healing process for the child and family.
Comfort House strives to end the cycle of abuse and increase awareness through education and prevention programs.
 

Comfort House provides services to families affected by abuse.

Services include:

    •a multi-disciplinary team forensic interview
    •advocacy and referral to counseling
    •education programs

Comfort House personnel work as a team with law enforcement, child protective services, mental health, medical professionals, prosecution, and victim advocates.
 Located in Southern Indiana, services are primarily offered in Harrison County. However, no one is denied services because of geographical location.
